This go round The Word Association has teamed up with Mnolo (San Antonio, Texas) and Anecha (Ashland, Oregon) two producers who have joined forces to co-produce every track on this most recent release, Two Producers One Deejay and Five Emcees Later....., bouncing different sounds and samples back and forth over the Internet until the stew was just right. All songs were written and recorded between Janurary and May of 2008, and there have been some special spices added throughout by a friend from Houston (Ty) on the guitar and harmonica on Ground Provisions and another longtime friend from Austin (Collin) lends a hand playing the sax on Celebracion.
